	Participant Info Gate Hours Gate hours vary depending on what events are going on. During the week the gate is usually open at 8am - 5pm. On the weekend during the season, the times vary almost weekly. It is usually open from 6:30am - 10:30pm (if camping is available.) During the offseason, the gate will open at 8:00am and close at 5:00pm. The gate will not be open on the weekends unless an event is scheduled. Waivers Everyone entering the gate MUST sign the waiver. If there is not a gate guard please stop in the office to sign. Camping Camping is permitted only during certain events. The cost to camp is $15/night or $25/weekend. You must pay in advance when entering the gate. You will then be given a permit that must be displayed in the windshield or somewhere visible! If you are bringing a motor home, you must stay in your space and not take up more room than your spot allows. Tents can be staked into grassy areas behind paddock spot. There is no sewage hook-up. Some areas may be marked No Camping. Electric Electric hook-up availability is limited to the area adjacent to the North Track Tower and is reserved for event staff first and then to others on a first come, first serve basis. Access the park from the west on US 22 and US 30, or from the north and south on PA 18, which passes directly through the park. McConnell's Mill State Park (12 miles) Hiking, kayaking, 19th century mill along Slippery Rock creek. The park is about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, via I-79, near the intersection of PA 19 and US 422. Moraine State Park (13 miles) Hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, bicycling. Located in northwestern Pennsylvania near the crossroads of I-79 and I-80, Moraine State Park is bisected by PA 422 running east/west and PA 528 running north/south. To access the South Shore Recreation Area, take the South Shore Exit of PA 422. To access the North Shore from PA 422 East, take the North Shore Exit. There is no access to the North Shore from PA 422 headed east from I-79, so, take the South Shore Exit, get onto PA 422 West and take the North Shore Exit.
