Crow is really a mixed bag for trail riding. There are numerous hill cimbs, with some light trails all around. The wood trails are a bit more difficult for complete novices, with some funky terrain going on in places. However, there is certainly enough for everyone. There are also some sections that I won't go on, for serious nutters only.

I'll put this on my calendar and try to hit it up with you guys if it dries up by then. I used to head down to Crow often when I lived near Cleveland, but I don't think I've been there in the 2.5 years I've lived in Columbus.

IMHO, it's not worth the effort to put together your own harescramble series, as there are plenty around. And I think the term enduro generally implies there are on-road transit sections (meaning license plates required), but I might be wrong. I don't do either personally, but have BSed with some who do.

Enduro actually means endurance, pavement has nothing to do with it. These are timed events vs laps. As for the need, it's more to have a casual option available, versus the professional series. Basically, something for our members. They are so cheap and easy to put together there really isn't a reason why not to. Granted, we aren't exactly going to be doing many or have it that involved.

I basically wanted to get out on the dirt to ride with some of my friends and figured this was a good platform for our members to join in on with their families when we are not at the track.
The term series for the enduros is more of a list than a championship.
If I get out once this year, it would be one more time than last year.

Hey Guy's,

I'm not sure what the weather will be at the end of March, but you can count me and my brother in for at least a couple of rides this year. Got a couple of dirt bikes in the stable, we'll have to drag "Half way up the tire wall Ray" to come and join us. Do they have tire walls out in the woods their? HA!!HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it Spring Yet? Dave

Hey Gents,

I know the area well. I grew up there. Before I left for the Air Force it wasn't called Crown Canyon. It was just some private property that people in the know rode on. The place is largely located on a bunch of big hills, canyons, and if memory serves a fairly decent sized "plateau". It'll be a great place to ride. I'm in as well. My buddy eEric says that if yo need tires mounted that the guys at Crow are the ones to see. They offer a really inexpensive mount service. I don't know if you have to be a "member" to get the extreme discount, but it might be worth checking out. IMHO nothing will ever replace Bars Mills (CopperHead) located north of Sugarcreek on SR93. Crow from what I've been told does a good job supplanting what we lost there. Jeff
