Glad he came through okay. I would expect Keith to keep his banana hammock warm for him until he can use it again! :D

Good to hear. Now hopefully Keith won't abuse the George Michael doll too much while keeping the banana hammock warm.

and this is what I get for posting updates?

I think he may not need his hammock any time soon. If you go back and read his text update that I posted, notice he didn't say anything about a shoulder, a clavicle, etc. Word is there was a mixup in the surgery schedule and he was mistaken for the guy after him who was scheduled for a weiner reduction. From his post, "Surgery went well, doc says, but it was a complicated repair.", I'm thinking of that old saying that 'you can't get nothing from nothing.' Just sayin'.

Heal up brudda!

Keith are you trying to be polite and say you stretched out his banana hammock?
To have the testicular fortitude you got to go as fast as you do, I would think you need a parachute to hold yours.

Thanks Todd. Although having another man refer to my "testicular fortitude" is a little creepy. However, I think I'll make "testicular fortitude" the phrase of the day and use it every opportunity I get. Hopefully it doesn't result in a late day meeting with the HR Department.

As for Jon's personal belongings (i.e. his banana hammock and George Michael blow-up doll), they're all safe. One of the EPR team rules is 'No sharing of anything between team members used for a team's member.' Believe me, one day we will document all team rules and share (requiring only a signed waiver not to use them against us in a court of law).

Get well Yani. :crutches:

Jon - glad things went well. Wish you a speedy recovery. Sounds like you have to get back in really good shape to take all the abuse your team gives out. How does that penile pump work anyway?

Oh my god! :todd:
As if Keiths head wasn't big enough already! We're never going to hear the end of this!

[quote="empty pockets racing"]An update from Jon received this morning….

“Surgery went well, doc says, but it was a complicated repair. They had to do some improvisation over what they planned because it was more messed up than they thought. I was in surgery for two hours. They decided to keep me overnight to administer antibiodics and pain killers. I should be released late afternoon. I'm going to take some physical therapy this morning. That should be fun. Doc says I'll be in a sling for six weeks.
Thanks for the messages everyone has sent. I'll be better than new in no time.
Jon”

Well I'm sure glad to hear the good news and the Doc was able to fix you up Jon...hope that give you some relief and your feeling better soon!

Let this also be a lesson 2 U my friend...next time...I encourage you to pack your freakin trailer up before you take the grid!

and Keith...u aint right man..."testicular fortitude"...lmao :loco:

Sorry Pete if Keith's head swells any more, but I had to give him some props for the effort he puts into the Empty Pockets Racing team.
We all know you really carry the burden of picking up Keith's slack on track.
I just hope with his swollen ego now you can show him your banana hammock and say "look, mine doesnt have padding like yours, you only stretched out Jon's cause he was wearing the youth size".

I would show you how big my hammock is, but from all those years of puckering I can reach back into my throat and use the string for dental floss.

Geeze, I don't get on the 'puter for a few days and all hell breaks loose.

Things are going well. I took great pleasure watching my wife mow the lawn today as I sat in a lounge chair. Unfortunately, I don't think I got as much pleasure out of that as she gets stabbing me in the stomach every day. She gets the thrill of giving me a shot in the stomach once a day with medication to prevent blood clots. I'm not sure if the sound she makes while sticking me with the needle is a slight giggle or some sort of evil, sadistic gutteral sound. Either way, I don't like it.
